T.M.I.

*WARNING*
The following post contains WAY too much information. If you're not interested in hearing WAY too much info about my, a-hem, "personal life", read no further. If you're feeling brave, carry on.

Sophie walked in on me and Wade.
And, by "walked in", I mean "WALKED IN!!!"
(I tried to warned you.)

OK, so she didn't actually "walk in". As any good fan of "Modern Family" knows, a door lock is an absolute must when you have kids. Instead of "walking in", she came to the door and knocked.
And knocked.
And knocked.
At a VERY inopportune time.

Oh, the horror.

We sat very still like she might go away.

She didn't.

She kept knocking.
I ran and hid in shame in the bathroom. Wade got her back into bed.
Turns out she had a fever.

When I went to check on her (after hiding out in said bathroom for about 35 minutes) Wade was cuddling with her in bed trying to help her relax. Just as I went to leave her room (thinking I had escaped total and utter humiliation) Sophie looked at me and said,

"Mom, why were you making those weird noises?"

Seriously.
SERIOUSLY!

As usual, my genius parenting skills kicked in.
I thought up a lie and I though it up quick.

"I was just lifting weights."

Seriously.
That is what I said.

Lifting weights.

In my defense, I do have weights next to my bed.
Unfortunately, they are five pound hand weights. But, I am out of shape.

Nice, Meg. Very nice.
